As regards venues, it appears we may have an embarassment of riches to choose one or two from.

Also, one of the venues under consideration is also a hotel. They might be willing to do a deal regarding room space discounts.

Alan, I've done more improv since quitting improv than I did before I quit improv.

Besides, I said it "makes me want to" put together a group, the same way that taking a nap "makes me want to" sleep for three days straight. It would be nice, but it ain't gonna happen.

That being said, a deal with a hotel would be great, especially if people are sharing rooms. Lodging could end up being super-cheap.

Things are still moving - Boom Chicago from Amsterdam (the Netherlands, that is. I presume there's a few in the USA too) have been in touch; there's definite interest from some of their performers.

http://www.comedydublin.com is the site of the primary Dublin Improv outfit that are supporting and organising this venture so far. They've had a great past few months in their new venue.

Burns, if you can tell me more, please do!

1st May is a holiday, so that could be a very good time to do this
