Tom Weiser
Tom Weiser is a writer, story-teller, and bemused
layabout. He has performed at Mass MOCA, Woodstock's
Living Room Project, The Medicine Show Theater,
Nell's, The Nuyorican, Dixon Place, and has been a
commentator on NPR. His writing has appeared in
Newseek under the column "Letter from America" -- so
if you are American, he has written to you. He's
waiting for you to write back.
Peter Olson
Peter Olson grew up in Jackson, Mississippi but
doesn't have an appreciable accent. He has written
for and performed in a number of shows at the Upright
Citizens Brigade Theatre, serves as coordinator for
the Yankee Rep Writer's Workshop, and has been
"published" in and edited a number of now-defunct web
sites. Peter is also sole proprietor of Overtype, a
graphic design firm, and is ashamed at how mercenary
he has become in promoting its high-end, cutting-edge
web and print design services.
Catherine Lowe
Catherine Lowe is a writer and editor who has read in
the Telephone Bar Reading series from the beginning.
Proud to be a Jersey girl she has recently moved to
Manhattan.
Fiona
Fiona was born in Istanbul, Turkey and grew up in
Brooklyn. After a variety of careers; including
booking clown parties and brain surgeries, training
and boarding pets, and clinically analyzing
schizophrenics in asylums; Fiona was drawn towards the
world of fiction. She has worked in two literary
agencies and the editorial departments of Random House
and Penguin. Now that she stopped editing others
manuscripts, she is writing a novel, short stories and
all new poems.
