parents watching you perform

I'm nervous to have my Dad see Mo's and my Spank next Monday... I use a few choice words and have a couple of questionably compromising sketches. And it's not like I can blame somebody else for pimping me into it... It's a sketch show. I wrote it. On purpose.

And now for my Eric Appel impersonation: Yes, it's on Monday 1/24, @ 9:30pm! Dude.

My parents are super supportive and make the trip in from LI to see shows all the time...sometimes too often.

I find, that i usually do my best work when my folks are in the audience. My dad's laugh is booming, and i feel it. It's a great feeling.

The fact that i perform also gave my dad the "acting bug" and he took a semester of acting at Suffolk County Community COllege and he loved it!

I love my parents.
