Osgood-Schlatter Highlights (1/5/02-5/9/03)

#1
First off we've got a great show this Friday night at midnight at the UCBT. Please come by to check it out.

Secondly if you've seen or performed in an Osgood-Schlatter please list a favorite moment below. Yes this is an obvious way to try to spark interest in the show, but I'll do whatever I can.

I'll start with an easy one:

Ptolemy's Balls

If you want me to elaborate on this I will.

Now you go . . .

The now legendary "Ptolemy's Ball's" episode of O-S was an amazing delight from start to finish. Other highlights...

Jane Borden's Manilow=the devil monologue

Dan Powell's novelization monlogue

Jon Daly's rap about Catherine Zeta Jones' baby attending the Oscars in her uterus.

Ed Helms & Co. doing some great traditional country/rockabilly music.

Thanks everybody for these awesome posts!!

All of the highlights you mentioned from Huebel, Daly, Powell, Jane, and Ed w/ Jake Tylove were all amazing!

I'll add another favorite:

When John Gemberling very enthusiastically put on a thick layer of white face paint, fangs, and a black cape to play a vampire that attacked Will and I for 15 seconds during an interstitial bit.

I loved watching Rob Lathan try to eat an enormous amount of food in one minute before realizing "that's too much food"

Also - Rob got hit in the face with a basketball in a bit but kept on with the character. Dedicated!

I liked Ptolemy and Rob as prison escapees wearing long johns and singing "Knights in White Satin" at a Methodist talent show.

oh - and the behind the scenes look at Osgood was one of my favorite moments.

AN improvised look at what happened behind the curtain while Rob told his stand up routine. I thought it was written - but it was improvised.

Brillantly funny.

Ptolemy, Jessica Myles, Rob Lathan, Will Hines, Mitch Magee, Curtis Gwyn, and John Gemerling made the funny.

Yeah that behind the scenes/backstage-to-stage sketch was great. Ptolemy came up with that one.

Here are the performers for Osgood-Schlatter tonight:

Jane Borden

Jackie Clarke

Dannah Feinglass

Ed Helms

Ken Keech

Rob Lathin

Paul Scheer

Between those steller performers, I'm willing to bet there's a future Osgood-Schlatter highlight. So why don't you come to the show tonight, record all possible "highlights", narrow it down to the best then come back to this thread and post your favorite hightlight.

Now back to the highlights from before . . .

watching mitch magee quietly give relationship advice in that backstage scene while in full green alien makeup and green bald cap was the moment that i realized: osgood schlatter is one of the greatest shows i've ever taken part in
i'm pretty sure he didnt even understand why he was in that sketch in the first place - he just did it
it was an amazing cast

also i remember enjoying some of the musical acts in the very fist osgoods a great deal
it was interesting to have some wacky sketch followed by a few sad songs
