I had a slice from two boots and felt the "back to school" vibe in the air. Then I thought, Sean Taylor's Pizza Month is right around the corner.

He cancelled forty minutes before we were supposed to meet.

Ooh, man...I'm psyched (and hungry)!

Thanks for remembering, guys. I hope to eat pizza with all of you this year. If you have a favorite pizza place, I'd love to go there with.

Mr. Kwako - If I remember correctly, I had to work late that night but I will buy you a slice sometime between now and the end of October to make up for it.

The pizza at Otto is really good. At the Amish Market, they make the pizza right in front of you and then put it into a brick oven--also very good.

But, my favorite is still Grimaldi's.

Yes, yes, yes. Grimaldi's is recognized by Taylor Pizza Evaluation, inc. as tied for #1 at the very least, and possibly the sole holder of the #1 position. We all know this. Still, official Pizza Month regulations stipulate that each pizzeria be visited only once.

If you're going to do pizza, you HAVE to go to 18th Avenue. It's the real deal.
