On the Sunnyside of the street

#5
one of my friends has lived there for 10 years in various apts and he would never live anywhere else. His rent is cheaper, his apt is huge and he doesn't mind the 7 service (although I found it a pain when I lived sort of nearby, but that was 6 yrs ago or so).

I trust his judgement - go for it!

re: the 7, it sucks at rush hour, but is mostly awesome the rest of the time.
re: sunnyside, staten island, confusingly enough there's a small community out there, i believe called sunnyside, but it's significantly less awesome than sunnyside queens.

i'd say around 1100 on the low end, maybe a little less, 1800 on the high end.
i pay 15 for a very nice rent stabilized one bed. happy to put you in contact with our realty mgmt corp. they're evil, but they're also no fee...

Sunnyside is AMAZING! I've been living in neighboring Woodside for three years and I LOVE both neighborhoods.

Clean, lots of grocery/restaurants/etc., and adorable.
