Is it wrong to not tell someone that it's the last day to vote, if I disagree with his politics?

An aside about absentee ballots -

If you are going to be away on business or vacation on Election Day (or meet one of the other criteria on the BOE web site above), you can either go to the Board of Elections and vote in person before Election Day, or submit an application by mail for an Absentee Ballot which MUST be received no later than 7 days before the election - You then get a ballot and fill it out, return it by mail and it must be received by the Board of Election no later than 7 days after the election.

OK? OK! You Have no more Excuses!

Thanks to this thread I just told a recent immigrant to go straight to the post office with her registration card rather than drop it into the mail box.
