Thanks - I had better brush up. I have this again on saturday and I better have some of the answers be the same.

It's sorta weird having a 90 year old lady ask Santa for a man for sex on xmas.

But oh the horror at me saying I eat Baby Seals and walrus. And when I countered with "its all there is in the north pole, what else should I eat?" one of them re-countered with "if the elves can make anything, why not have them make you cheeseburgers or something". Crafty old ladies.

I have another resource for those who are looking to be a Santa this year.

Metropolitan Community Church/Homeless Youth Services runs a shelter for homeless gay, lesbian, & transgendered teenagers (primarily).

I just got my letter from a 17yr old pregnant (7mos) girl who asked only for a gift certificate to Babies R Us.

I think that teenagers generally get overlooked in "Letters to Santa" type programs. Also, these kids are homeless and could really use the extra support and kindness.

Here are the deets:

Step 1: Sign up! Email kate_barnhart AT yahoo DOT com. Include your address – we will MAIL you a letter from a youth.
Step 2: Receive a letter from one of our homeless LGBT youth with their request. Requests are limited to items under $100 and are reviewed by staff before mailing.
Step 3: Shop!
Step 4: Deliver your wrapped gift BEFORE christmas– items can be mailed to us at:
Gay Santa
MCCNY/ Homeless Youth Services
446 W. 36th St
NYC NY 10018
Items can also be dropped off at the shelter

I wish I'd seen this earlier! I'm going to circulate it though.
