All submissions will be processed digitally via our online form.

The form requires general information about the name of your group, your format, primary contact person, individual performer names, technical requirements and other information used to assess your application. In addition to this information, you should also have ready:

Video: A link to streaming video (YouTube, Google Video, Vimeo, etc). Full length performances are recommended, but at minimum clips should be at least five minutes in length and representative of the style of show you'd perform at PHIF. Previous PHIF groups do not need to submit a video UNLESS the ensemble roster has undergone changes since their last performance at PHIF.

Photo: We will also need a production photo suitable for both web and press. Images should be 300 dpi or better, in JPEG, GIF, PNG or PDF format. Please avoid including text or logos on images. Often times your photo alone can can determine if your group gets coverage in the press.

Submission Fee: A $20 non-refundable fee will be assessed at the time of your submission. Once you complete the form, you will be directed to a page where you can use EFT or credit card via Paypal.

Groups will receive notification on their acceptance status no later than August 1st. Upon acceptance, groups will receive a statement for their total registration cost, based on a base rate of $25 for each performer included on their submission form. The fee will be due only once per individual, regardless of the number of accepted groups a person may perform with.

Groups will have ten days to confirm their performance slot by providing the registration balance. Groups who fail to submit registration balances by August 10th will forfeit their performance slot.

All fees are non-refundable

In addition to their 25 minute performance slot, all PHIF7 Performers will receive a performer packet that includes:

So, what's the difference between a "regular" and "premium" show? And any idea on what ticket and "premium" ticket and workshop prices will be? We've got a big troupe and all of these costs will add up pretty quickly for us.

Almost every show is regular. If you submit a show and it's accepted, it will be a regular show, and performers can see it for free, as long as there's seating. We only have a couple of premium shows, and those are commissioned headliners. Those require a separate ticket for everyone. Performers can purchase half price tickets for those ($10-$15). It's nothing your group is required to pay for.

There will be a range of workshops available, and performers have the option to sign up at a discounted rate as well. Pricing information won't be available on those until we know what instructors will be teaching and can consider class size, duration and if it's a standard or master workshop. This is also an optional expense, and upon acceptance your group will have sufficient time to look at overall costs prior to having to make the decision to register.
