Marathon Workshops! Saturday, July 12th

Study with 5 different teachers from the Chicago ImprovOlympic on the Saturday of Marathon weekend. These guys were all trained by Del Close and collectively have over 50 years experiencing performing, directing and teaching Harold.

10am - Noah Gregoropoulos
12pm - Craig Cackowski
2pm - Paul Grondy
4pm - Peter Gwinn
6pm - TJ Jagadowski
$100 for 10 hours of instruction.

How the workshop works:

You can reserve your slot in class now by registering for the entire 10 hour class-marathon. If you preregister, you still must be at the class 10 minutes before the class begins. If you do not show up for the class, we reserve the right to fill your spot with a stand by (for that 2 hour class only). For instance, if you show up for the 10am class at 10:15am, you will not be able to go into class until the next teacher takes over at 12pm.

Also, if you decide to leave and not take one of the 5 workshops, you must be back 10 minutes before the next one starts to get your place back in the workshop. For instance, if you left after the 12pm class to go have lunch at 2pm. You would need to be back at the class space by 3:50pm to get into the 4pm session.

If there is space available on the day of the class for a particular 2 hour class, they will be sold for $25 each. The waiting list for each 2 hour class will start 30 minutes before the class starts. If there is space in the class, a person will be randomly selected from the waiting list. It will not be first come first served on the waiting list.

The is a maximum of 24 students in each 2 hour workshop.

The class is beginning to fill up.

Meet the teachers:

Let's start with Noah. Noah teaches many of the performance classes (5B) at ImprovOlympic in Chicago. He started as a perfomer with ImprovOlympic in the 80's and has been involved in some of the most influential improv shows of the late 80's and 90's. He played with Jazz Freddy, Baron's Barracudas and the Comedy Underground. He directed Lois Kaz and Close Quarters, two of the first long form shows to get a run on a Second City stage. At the marathon, he will be appearing with Carl and the Passions and the Mosaic.

Noah is the one with looking down the counter with a smile on his face.
