be gentle with me i'm sensitive!

i'm thrilled there is a north carolina section here, because i am just outside the Charlotte area, and am stuck here more or less.

i've never taken any improv classes, but i do have an interest in doing so. i just need somebody to please kick me in the right direction. suggestions...where should i start, etc.

Hey! Welcome to the Tar Heel State!
I don't know much about the scene around Charlotte, unfortunately, but if you have yourself with a free weekend pop on over to the DSI Theater in Carrboro. We have shows every Friday and Saturday nights (7:30, 9:30 and 11PM) and we'd love to see you there. Or head over to Raleigh and check out ComedyWorx on Peace St. or The Idiot Box in Greensboro. Theres quite a bit of improv around here, believe it or not!

thanks!
i'm closest to G'boro. raleigh is a 3 hour drive for me from where i am currently.

i have a bunch of very general questions about improv, because when it gets down to it i know very little about it. admiring from afar is not the same as actually doing something. stalking as opposed to being in normal destructive relationship.

edited to add: i contacted the idiot box about their improv workshops.
i feel so proactive today!
