New UCB site design

They switched up the design overnight. Nice, but I liked the old one better. And not just because this one has eaten half the March shows.

Thoughts?

Will have to get used to this version.

Is Amy really going to show up tonight? I hadn't even heard she was supposed to be there at all. (For The Dave Hill Explosion.)

It is clean and easy to find everything. I also enjoy the hover effect that turns the lights on in each city when you roll over each location. I liked the design of the old one a lot, so I am probably a little jaded due to that. It had an indie feel to it. I bet it is easier to update now as well.

i like the new performer's page (the page is new, not the performers). i don't like how it seems oriented to the left when you open the page, so the edging of the new york section looks like it goes off the browser window. that is all aesthetic though. i prefer the new colors too.

The fact that the page is linked to ucbcomedy.com is cool as hell--having the videos of performers on their performer pages is TOPS. KICK ASS!

I hope they would play around with the fonts a bit more. I feel like they're too big. The background design was a good choice, though. I too love the video links accompanying performer bios. But, the fonts!

I love this version. NY and LA on the front page -- no clicking once before you get any information.

Videos right there.

Nice big type.

Love it.

As long as the show schedule still goes all the way back so I can find out who was performing on 11/2/2003 or any other random date, I'm fine with change.

I love it, especially the integration of the ucbcomedy videos. I wish the Harold Night rosters were still listed on the schedule, but otherwise, every change is an upgrade
