Improv Resource Center - Forums
Hey all,
I'm opening a new improv/sketch room at The Broadway Comedy Club (318 West 53rd Street.) and need help naming the new room.
It could be something witty and clever or just named after someone who has had a profound impact on the art forms we'll be performing in the space.
This new room will be open to all to hang out and get shows up at. Improv and sketch are welcome and I'd be open to other suggestions that would fit in the room.
It'll be booked and managed by myself and I have a pretty decent amount of improv and sketch experience (Second City, Annoyance, IO + Del Close trained) with a couple of thousand shows produced/performed under my belt. I hope to make the room an awesome place to perform quality shows.
We just hosted The 2008 Skit Skat Sketch Festival with much success and already have many groups booked over the Summer. We'll also be announcing an improv and sketch open mic shortly.
Looking forward to your input as this will be your room as much as it is ours.
