Close encounters took me a second. I think if we were opening up a strip club based on Del's long form ideals, that would be the name.

PS As improvisers and sketch comedians you will never be charged to come into a show at our club. You'll also never be charged a 2 bev minimum. So if other improvisers want to support and fill up the crowd, they're always welcomed for free.

Really? Any show? How do you determine who qualifies?

Really, any show.

For now you'll either need to be booked at the club or need a student ID from either The UCB, PIT or Magnate. In the future we might issue our own performer ID's.

I like the concept of professional courtesy. If you're a performer, I don't think you should be charged to come in and see a show.

i went there a week ago to look at the space for my sketch/improv group, beast. we are probably performing there at least twice this summer.

what aarons doing is really cool, he's being extremely helpful and respectful to improv and sketch performers. the place is also great. the location may be a bit out of what most people are used to, but it's worth it. especially if you're a performer. if you're in a group i'd say book a show while it's still in its experimental stages.

Thanks for the suggestions and the kind words. I've been able to accomplish some amazing things this week and I think we've settled on a name. Look for some major announcements by the end of this week (maybe tomorrow, I don't know how long I can wait!)
