Hello improv world. Ryan Sturt here. Shooting a music video this weekend and we are in desperate need of people Friday night to play singers in a gospel choir. NO SINGING REQUIRED. You just have to "pretend".

The sell: This music video is to an obscure Meatloaf song called "Gimme the Future With a Modern Girl". We have a 10' cake, a nice camera and lighting package, a beautiful space, and not enough people to play in the scene! The scene we are shooting is essentially a grand party scene in the context of a gospel revival meets rock concert. We need crowd members to cheer on the star of the video and to revel in our fantasy moment and people to play singers in a gospel choir.
Come out. This will be a very fun time.
The details:
We are seeking people of all ages and types, male and female. This shoot contains no nudity and nothing remotely sexy. It's meant to be friendly to all ages.
There will be some food and beverages available, though nothing that would constitute a full meal. We would love to be able to feed everyone, however we are a very low budget, non-union outfit.
A screening will be made public and free once the project is complete. VHS copy will be provided to featured dancer roles, and for sale at a very low price at the screening (probably a few dollars though it's too far away right now to tell).
We need extras for three different shifts. We need dancers specifically for the 11am Saturday shift.
Friday December 19th: 5pm to 10pm
Saturday December 20th, 1st group: 11am to 4:30pm
Saturday December 20th, 2nd group: 1:30pm to 8pm

What to wear: We need your long unrealized alter-egos and kitsch /irony-free fantasies incarnate. Dress loudly, bright colors and over the top character clothing. Dig out the stuff you save because it's too ridiculous to wear any other time. If you have extra stuff, bring it for the masses!
How to get there: via subway, take the 1,9 to the Christopher St stop in Manhattan. Walk west on West 4th Street to 10th Street and turn left.
If you're coming from the PATH train, take it to the Christopher Street stop exit and turn left on Hudson Street. Walk to 10th Street and turn left.
For both, The school will be on your left past Greenwich Street. Enter through the main doors on 10th Street.
If you're driving, local parking is available. Please obey all traffic signs and parking laws.
