My daily beverage

9/20/02 - Strawberry Orange Banana [from deli with the juicer at 23rd and B'way]

Should be an interesting GirlCrush show tonight, as Jack McBrayer, Jon Daly, Porter Mason, and Huskey are taking over parts played by other actors. Porter might just be a better Perilo than Perilo.

Liepis, Bergeron and Secunda are in LA for the Emmy Awards. Sounds like they are going to have a blast out there. I hope Conan or Daily Show wins the award, so I can see one of them force their way to the microphone to deliver a longwinded speech (and get interrupted by the orchestra, and interrupted when Brian Stack and Kevin Dorff wrestle them away from the podium.)

Katty = bev getta hata.

9/21/02 - Pink Lemonade [from lemonade stand on Clinton St. between Sackett and Degraw, Brooklyn, NY]

I've hardly seen lemonade stands in the suburbs, much less in NYC, but on a walk through Cobble Hill, I happened upon a couple of sisters (along with their mother) manning their own lemonade stand. For a bargain price of 25 cents (according to them, down from the original price of 50 cents) I had a glass of lemonade to soothe my parched throat.

9/22/02 - Cranberry Juice [from Heights Cafe, Brooklyn, NY]

In low light situations, this Pocket Digital camera takes really awful pictures.

Had brunch with Gary and Ben. Gary, who has been visiting NYC, flies back to LA today.

Seeing Mr. Show's live show, "Hooray for America", tonight at Town Hall.

9/23/02 - Naked Food-Juice Very Berry

Has banana puree in it. I'm not a big fan of bevs with banana in it.

People...are sometimes...important. Sometimes.

Hooray for beverages! Hooray for America!

9/24/02 - After The Fall Caribbean Lime Spritzer

U R Rude, Dude!

Mystery Bev, not to be confused with the Jim Jarmusch film of the same name. (It was called "Mystery Bev", right?)

Whatever about the Strokes! (Not a fan!)

Very well, Porter "Josh Perilo" Mason. Very well.

A picture taken on the way to work this morning. The concept of looking both ways before crossing the street should be taught to bears as well.

Although this was not fully translated for me, this is apparently a welcome back message for Gabi written in Russian. (Gabi was in Milan and then somewhere in Romania.) Any Russian readers out there who could verify this?

talulacircus: terry, that's gorgeous
TerrySeal: I'd actually like a BIGGER print!
talulacircus: keep checkin'
TerrySeal: yeah
TerrySeal: time for bev
talulacircus: have fun
TerrySeal: I'm getting my beverage of the day, talulacircus.

I know what you're saying, Gruber. I agree completely.

9/27/02 - Dr. Brown's Extra Dry Ginger Ale

"Extra Dry", eh? Less sweet, I assume, like a fine wine? (Not that the liquid itself is somehow less wet.)

Looks like water. Is it water?

Shau Lon Pau (Steamed Little Juicy Buns.) Excellent! [Naturally at Excellent Dumpling House]

I won't mind this.

I won't mind this, either.

9/29/02 - After The Fall Cranberry Ginger Ale Spritzer

Dr. Awesome rehearsal at Eli's office, with Dannah coaching.

Leslie, Eli, and myself enjoy dinner at Cafeteria. I had a ginger ale. "The fish? Not so good, Al."

9/30/02 - Squeezed Nantucket Nectars Cranberry Lemonade

I've noticed that I've been drinking a lot of lemon-flavored and ginger ale-type drinks lately. I suppose those are more mainstays, rather than a recent trend.

I've heard mixed things about Auto-Focus. I do have a few movies I'd like to see. "Spirited Away" (that anime thing). "Secretary" sounds interesting.

Get ready for "The Ring"! (Hey, that Naomi Watts is in it.)

-Terry

10/1/02 - Newman's Own Old Fashioned Roadsize Virgin Lemonade

Some cable modem problems forced me to take a half day off of work, and wait for the cable (modem) guy. Turns out...it was waste of time...as the guy couldn't do much here other than say "be patient, they are working on it." I wish someone could have called and told me that same helpful advice.

(Bergeron's birthday is today.)

10/2/02 - R.W. Knudsen Spritzer Lemon Lime

Had a salad and mozzarella/tomato sandwich. The salad part is unusual for me, but I chose it as a symbol against what the brazillian steak dinner I had last night stood for. (The steak stands for death by massive coronary.)

Prior to meeting for this steak dinner, I came upon this steak walking the street. A great steak escape, perhaps.

I found this article in the NY Times, which essentially says that such places as Tasti-D-Lite and CremaLita are lying about how many calories and fat are in their frozen desserts. (O'Neill is pissed!)

Caustic seems to be in a funk. Have you read his journal? I think you'll agree.

Dyna's tiny feet love those funky shoes.

["Funk" in the journal twice? I guess that must be the word of the day.]

bigmilbank: are you ready for the football?
TerrySeal: which football?
bigmilbank: you ain't ready for the football
TerrySeal: the correct quote is..."Are you ready for SOME football"
TerrySeal: not "THE football"...which would refer to the actual football itself
bigmilbank: I guess I have the song all wrong
TerrySeal: yep
bigmilbank: I don't know if I'm ready for "some" football... I am ready for "the" football
bigmilbank: and I'm prepared to take pre-emptive action if the need arises!
TerrySeal: you are ready to handle the actual ball used in the playing of the game of football?
bigmilbank: yes
TerrySeal: Are you ready for some futbol?
bigmilbank: I have done a lot of reading on it
TerrySeal: on Futbol?
bigmilbank: yes
bigmilbank: although I'm not sure if I'm ready emotionally
TerrySeal: would you say that you were....READY for a PORTION of FUTBOL?
bigmilbank: for a portion, yes
bigmilbank: some, no
TerrySeal: some = a portion
TerrySeal: essentially the same
bigmilbank: "a portion" seems to imply more than "some"
bigmilbank: maybe that's my imagination
TerrySeal: both rather vague terms that indicate an indeterminate size
bigmilbank: maybe you've got a point there
TerrySeal: certainly not ALL of it
TerrySeal: less than the total
bigmilbank: it could be close to all, though
TerrySeal: could be
TerrySeal: a large portion
bigmilbank: indescribably close to all, in fact
TerrySeal: that is a possibility
bigmilbank: I am not ready for some football, it seems
TerrySeal: Nor are you ready for a portion of futbol
bigmilbank: sigh

10/3/02 - Strawberry Kiwi Pineapple [from the juicer at the deli on 23rd street]

Is this a bev that has already been featured? Probably. But it is tasty.

An alternative picture taken of this bev.

Despite the unfortunate name, Pooptown is a great neighborhood these days, especially for raising a family. The "Olde Beveragetowne" section (including Beverageton, North Beverageton Heights, and Stars Hollow) has really gone down hill. It's essentially a complete reversal of how it was like in the 70's. And, it's quite a shame.

HEY HEY HEY...it's BIIIG MILBANK! (He's going to sing a song for you. He is.)

Late again, Caustic? I know how it is. I woke up this morning, at my normal (normally late) time, but I remembered I had a meeting at 9:30am. I rushed and got in just in time. I didn't have much to do in the meeting, though. One person joked about how she was surprised I had not yet fallen asleep.

10/4/02 - Samascott Orchards Pure Strawberry Apple Cider

I was configuring a wireless network in Brooklyn today...and on the way back to the office I stopped by the Greenmarket in Union Square for a bev.

The Antique [Amy] Rhodes Show...

TerrySeal: i have an early bev of the day
AntiqueRhodeShow: it isn't posted
TerrySeal: not yet
AntiqueRhodeShow: is it plain water by any chance?
TerrySeal: you know better than that...
AntiqueRhodeShow: I DO! Last night you had three hours for one glass of water, which you couldn't even finish!
TerrySeal: that was tonic water...
AntiqueRhodeShow: it was closer to water than i have ever seen you get!
TerrySeal: because it has 'water' in the name?
TerrySeal: and is clear?
AntiqueRhodeShow: yes
TerrySeal: I like tonic water...but nobody else does
AntiqueRhodeShow: my dad does, too
TerrySeal: Malcolm Rhodes?
AntiqueRhodeShow: !
TerrySeal: Xavier Rhodes?
AntiqueRhodeShow: Xavier Roberts
TerrySeal: Winston Reginald Rhodes III?
AntiqueRhodeShow: the second
TerrySeal: Junior!
AntiqueRhodeShow: ha!
TerrySeal: your dad didn't invent the Cabbage Patch Kids, did he?
AntiqueRhodeShow: no. i wish
TerrySeal: then he is no Xavier Roberts!
AntiqueRhodeShow: i only had two - kimberly burstein had like 20!
TerrySeal: yes, but Kimberly Burstein is a junkie right now living in a trailer
AntiqueRhodeShow: i think she is a lawyer in la

Soup du jour...is a nice, chunky New England clam chowder...

Not a bisque...although you were close, Billy Merritt.

10/5/02 - Sprite

Mullaney holding the Sprite. (I did drink this beverage. He had a Coke.) Helped out during his "improvisation on video" class. (I shot the video.) A good group of people in his class (some who I knew, some I didn't.) The 5 hours flew by, actually.

I must admit getting up semi-early and shooting for 5 hours seemed daunting, but once you're in the rhythm of shooting, you remember that it is good to do it.

Tonight, jamming with Josh, Berman, Porter, & Millie at Ultrasound...(music, not comedy!)

I love Ultrasound (especially Studio A.)
