You're swell!
Alexis Steinkamp and the other alumni team, Balls No Balls, alternate Mondays so....I haven't actually seen Balls No Balls but I'm sure a night with them and Armando is also a good night.;}

I can also vouch for King Ten. I've seen them a couple times now and they are excellent every time.

Dasaricski and Armando are good bets, Corey.

Bob Dassie
Rich Talarico
Craig Cackowski
**All amazing improvisers, and good people.

Armando should be great and will sometimes have Chris Tallman (who both taught and played at DSIF 2003 in North Carolina) He's an old school ComedySportz-Madison friend who rocks it hard on www.channel101.com and maybe King Ten.

See the Lampshades for sure.

See Armando.

See Beer Shark Mice.

In terms of Harold Teams, I say see:
Streethawk
Section 8
Assisted Living
King Ten
Youth Group
or
Liquor Guns and Ammo

that list is in no particular order.

Actually those are all the harold teams so that really did not help anything.
What can I say? I house manage on Harold Night but I rarely watch, people always want me to open a door or something.

I would recommend Woody's Living Room featuring Streethawk, but I think the show needs a dog. I would believe it was Woody's living room if there was a dog there, and Woody has dogs so he could easily bring one in.

And if you really want to see Chris Tallman and Aaron Krebs, they're in that.

I would prefer to see Chris Tallman, Aaron Krebs, and a Golden Retriever.

I and some friends are visiting LA too, but I just found out that IOWest is 21 and over only, so my girlfriend cant go, bummer. I was hoping to see some shows with her, we both do Improv together and love seeing it. There isnt any backdoor I can sneak her in or something is there? :loopy:

Why do pharmaceutical companies bring in motivational speakers? Why aren't there child stars like Mickey and Judy anymore? What is Peter Cetera doing now? John Ross Bowie(lots of TV stuff), Bill Chott(TV AND movies), and Jamie Denbo(Green Party Candidate) try to answer these questions and more in their new sketch comedy show.

JOE RESTAURANT

Ever work at a restuarant and realize that everyone there was doing coke, fucking around with another employee, or doing whip-its off the whip cream cans in the walk-in refrigerator. Exactly. Come see Matt Walsh, Eric Hoffman, Pat Walsh, Jay Johnston, and many other special guests act out the dysfunctional family you worked in for at least a summer.

10 SPEED THIEF

High speed, anger infused, hard nose improv from the new wave of long formers hitting the coast.
Chris G. Joe O'Brien, Dannah Feinglass and a rotating cast of freaks sitting in each week.

Don’t Miss Fowler & Cenac at the Los Angeles Improv Festival!!

For the past five years, Thomas Fowler and Wyatt Cenac have performed together and separately at ImprovOlympic with McManus, Cog, the Armando Show, Big Shirley, Bonzebo, Red Shirt Freshmen, Edit Badger and 2 time Harold Champions Tiny Hostages. Now they present their two man completely improvised show. Watch as they create an array of characters and situations all tied together from one suggestion.

P.S. Do you like black people? They do. Maybe that’s because they’re both black people.
So come see the show.
Not only will you be watching a great improv show, but you’ll also become a more culturally aware person.

He wasn’t super-sweet or super-accomodating – he had the same expectations of everyone."
