Most of the time the "unlimited" bandwidth is a lie. There is lots of fine print about how you might stress the servers etc. Anyone, server load was the most recent problem, not bandwidth. I think we are well below our monthly allottment for bandwidth these days.

http://www.Aplus.net is great, is what I wanted to say. They have "unlimited transfer," which is unlimited bandwidth. I don't see any fine print. Just wanted to share. 24-hour toll-free tech support. They are very, very well-rated by CNET.

After looking over their options, I believe that they might try to bump me up to a dedicated server and charge me $100 a month. My service has been pretty good for at least the last 6 months for a lot less money. I see no reason to switch, since we currently use about half the bandwidth that is allocated to me.

There are all kinds of ways that hosting companies can limit your use. They can shut off your site at their perogative if they think you are using too many resources (not just bandwidth). As long as f5hosting doesn't start doing that again, I see no reason to switch.

I see. Very good. I am happy you're happy! (I had signed up with $5 and eventually dropped it because it limited what I wanted to do with my site, but we do quite different things with our sites. :) )
