MSG Bus to Boston?

There may be an existing thread dealing with this, but I am too addled to find it.

I need to go to Boston this weekend. In the past I have always taken the Fung Wah from Bowery and Canal. This time I need to leave straight from work at 35th and 5th. I understand there is a similar service to the Fung Wah that leaves from MSG somewhere.

Does anybody have any details or experiences with this? Company name, website, price etc?

Thanks

bolt bus leaves from the tick-tock diner (34th and 8th). megabus is the other newish one, i believe that leaves from near penn station as well.

i took fung-wah both ways this weekend. i considered bolt and mega bus, but fung-wah is the devil i know, you know?

So I've got a ticket on Megabus today for $10.

$10!!

Hopefully I will not be strapped to the top of the bus.
You mean the Megabus that advertises seats for $1 (plus 50 cent booking fee)? That's 1000% increase over the advertised price (plus booking fee).

I think it must have prices that move with demand. So they might sell a ticket for $1 instead of having it go empty, but not otherwise.

so far a big thumbs up to megabus. The bus is new and clean and smells nice and there is free wifi!

A couple of rows up from me there are two guys with a cooler. They finished their first beers by 10th ave. Now they ocassionally reach in for more beers and handfulls of ham slices that appear to be thrown in the cooler unwrapped. Maybe they are to keep the beer bottles from clanking.
