MOVEMENT AND CLOWN for IMPROVISER COACHING

#1
I've improvised and taught for over 12 years internationally and in the U.S.

Currently teaching at the PIT. Available to coach groups.

What I offer: Improvise from the Heart. Believable in your scenes. Not telling the joke, being the joke.

Make them laugh and cry at the same time.

Try me on for a session.

A few quotes from students taken from other posts.

"Improv-heads, performance artists, clergymen, barristers, and laypeople alike - all people can benefit from Eric Davis's workshop. Fear not if you've had little or no performance experience, it was definitely useful for all levels. Organized, yet organic, Eric provides a open, safe environment for you to stop and listen to your inner self. His quality constructive criticism, depth of knowledge, personal skillfulness, and clarity of communication made this workshop incredibly worthwhile and beneficial."

cheers,

I took a clowning workshop with Professor Davis last summer and I can enthusiastically recommend him as a teacher. A one day workshop was just not enough; I would take this class in a heartbeat if I wasn't busy and broke right now.

Even if you're just thinking about taking this, DO IT! You won't regret it.

Eric's work was seen in the "I Am Not A Freak Show" and I can agree with everything he is saying here, having seen that excellent, moving show as an audience member.

The actors on stage--among so many other things!--always moved as a unit to support what the speaker said. It was a compelling stage picture, and about 10x more thought-out than most improv I've seen.

It was also a deep, hilarious and meaningful show. I recommend his work!
