Monday karaoke - anywhere? help!

Anyone know of a cheap place for Monday night karaoke?

Hello!?! I'm dragging the bahumbuggy Gold Dust Woman (not so much bahumbuggy as she could use a night out*) out tonight and am wondering if there's anywhere I can force her to go where there's some cheap fun karaoke.

(not Arlene's)

* If you see her tonight, be sure to punch her in the head and make her shotgun a beer - it'll cheer her up - well, maybe just me.

Okay, okay - I'm a boner.

I know this isn't plugs and it's technically NOT a plug.

What's the dilly w/ this show? Do we all sit around and have Lathan serenade us or what?

(edited to add:for future reference will go to Muses. Dur.)

Audience members get to sing alongside famous celebrity guests from entertainment & politics. Senor Kerry will give more details tonight when you show up to the big show.

Vintage on 9th & 51st now has Karaoke Mondays.

Those are all the details I have. Let me know if you go there, I may leave my house ...

(May is the operative word - it's cold out, yo.)

SOLD! Thanks Mo.

This should've been a PM to Mo - sorry for clogging the board (more than I already do).

I do sing a mean power ballad, though.

I concur that tonight should be a night for John Kerryoke, but on all other Monday (and Tuesday) nights, you can sing karaoke completely FREE at Bourbon Street NYC - Amsterdam between 79th and 80th. The woman who runs it is really awesome and cool and she has a HUGE selection. I go there all the time myself. Sometimes even alone ... oh.

Karaoke update

Kerryoke - friggin' awesome.

Karaoke @ Chorus on 32nd street. Not cheap but unintentionally hialrious.

Head - hurtin'

Would love to try the other places on the list at another time.

Thanks for coming to John Kerryoke, Michelle and Rachel. Great timing that you happened to be looking for karaoke on a Monday night. And thanks for the unintentional plug.

The turnout for the show ended up being much better than I anticipated. And the big-time celebrity guests were way better than expected too. Who would have known Asshole Jones could belt out tune like that? And the Chris Robinson/Time Conway duet was one for the ages!
