Mini Film School
Instructor: Yang Miller and Kevin Napier
Through group improvisation and exercises, students will conceive, write, produce and edit the pilot episode of a web series. During this 6-week class, Yang and Kevin will guide students through character creation and narrative arc as well as basic training in camera operation, cinematography and final cut pro. Students will leave class with a web comedy pilot (3-5 minutes), that they collectively wrote, performed and produced. Please note: This class is a fully collaborative endeavor so punctuality, attendance and participation is very important. The class requires some out-of-classroom time for shooting, etc.
March 12-April 16 (6 weeks)
