The 2005 Miami Improv Festival presented by Just The Funny will be presenting a special preview event featuring the improv show The Scramble, directed by MIF 2005 instructor Joe Bill (Bassprov, Annoyance Theater). The Scramble will take place this Saturday, December 11, 2004 at 11:00 pm, at The Miami Museum of Science Theatre. Tickets for this special event are $10.00 and can be purchased online or at the box office on the night of the event.

The Scramble will feature actors from top South Florida improv companies including:
Impromedy: Nicole Quintana, Johnny Trabanco
Joystick: Lorena Diaz, Wendy Camacho
Just The Funny: Carlos Rivera, David Christopher
Mod 27: Tom O'Donnell, Dave Hyland
The Scramble will be featured as a workshop and student performance at this year's Miami Improv Festival. Joe Bill will instruct this master improv workshop, with students learning the format from one of the leading instructors in the industry. The workshop will be followed by a student performance of The Scramble at The 2005 Miami Improv Festival.
Joe Bill Info:
Joe has been performing, coaching and teaching at The Playground almost from the beginning. He currently plays with Inside Vladimir, and is the coach of American Dream. He is one of the co-founders of Annoyance Theater, where he performed in and directed over 50 productions from 1987-2000, including smash hits Co-ed Prison Sluts, The Real Live Brady Bunch and The Screw Puppies. Joe has also coached and performed with numerous ensembles at Improv Olympic from 1985-1987 and 1995-present. Highlights include Georgia Pacific and the innovative lights out long form, "The Bat". Currently, Joe performs with IO based, Improv Super Group, Weasiliscious. Joe teaches improvisation for The Second City Conservatory and Training Center, Annoyance, The Playground and around the U.S., Canada, UK and Netherlands. He started doing Improv in 1977.

MIF 2005 will feature improv and sketch comedy groups from across North America, with performances, workshops, seminars, parties and more.
