Meet Charna Halpern This Week!!!!

ComedyWorx and the newly-formed iO South training Center proudly present Charna Halpern.

Charna Halpern has been teaching performers how to work together for more than 25 years. Her world-famous I.O. theaters in Chicago and Los Angeles are the meccas of training in the art of improvisation, and they act as a "recruiting" stop for TV shows like "Saturday Night Live," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "MADtv," supplying New York and Hollyword with writers and performers.

Charna will be signing books and conducting free demonstration classes in the Triangle area January 31 and February 2, 2006. Detailed information listed below:

She'll be signing the Truth and Comedy book as well as an older book on Group Improvisation. I think she has another book on group improvisation coming out in March called Art by Committee: The Magic of Group Improvisation.
