Maude Night Highlights!!!!!

Here's a couple of faves:

Ari as the time-traveling teacher. "She'll catch up".

The ladies watching Wimbeldon.

Passive Aggressive! "I will kill you! No, now you're just being really AGGRESSIVE."

Fun stuff all around everyone!

Dudes whose mothers are dead very sadly trying to fuck each other in a Subway sandwich shop.

Santangeli accidentally poisoning himself.

Nate's emotionally honest Batman.

The entire city of Buffalo.

27 Kidneys' "Buffalo's Meet The Press" sketch was an amazing feat and so fun to watch.

I was also blown away by their use of props, from the piecemeal Russert photo to the birthday party signs to the Sims flying man costume and that green pipe thing and Dree's pretty dresses.

I wish I could've seen the entire night. I can't believe I missed a sketch about dudes whose mothers are dead very sadly trying to fuck each other in a Subway sandwich shop.

mike still's dimples!

the passive aggressive game show was a great example of a funny premise executed well on every level.

santangeli's line in the remembrance birthday party sketch of 'WE KNOW' after dree's 'IT'S MY BIRTHDAY AND MY BIRTHDAY ONLY!' was fucking hilarious. i also got quelling looks for my raucous and unbecoming laughter during the poison warehouse video.

i LOVED the 'famous comedy sketches as directed by ____' sketches too. really well done. after the first, i was hoping desperately that there would be a KITH one and a tarantino one. wish granted! dead parrot sketch as directed by robert rodriguez is next!

i loved stone cold's use of authentic emotion, and their actors' ability to portray it so well, and 27 kidneys' very skillful use of the whole team. group sketches is fuggin hard, yo and those kids pull 'em off.

maude night = awesome night.

Garlock wrote the dimples sketch.

27 Kidneys was fucking awesome last night--sketch after sketch of well-premised, well-executed material--I was really impressed. The Russert sketch blew me away--to approach subject matter like that and knock it out of the park with such wonderful satire was truly impressive.

I missed Mixtape, unfortunately. I agree with sneakers--Stone Cold used that strange human thing called emotion--I believe that's it's name-- to great effect--the final sketch was an instant classic--I could have seen that on Mr. Show and not have been surprised. I loved the Subway sketch too!

Yeah Mauders!

I laughed so hard in the Breadbasket sketch when Thunder wanted to consult a science guy, and the doctor came out, but then Still came out and said something like "I think he meant me" and then the doctor exited. I love that kind of stuff. all four groups should have used that doctor.

How great did Nate Lang and Cody Melton look in those dresses? Am i right? Nate kept giving these little looks and I kept thinking, he is such a pretty lady. I can talk about this in great length, find me.

Other highlights:
Jill's character telling the copier story to her boss and it failing and she telling the story in the Sim world and everyone laughing.

When Jim ate that strawberry and it became Larry's Poison Shop.

During the passive-agressive sketch, what I think was the improvised line: "Yeah, just get in front of the screen, that would be great." Or if it was scripted, even more genius.

I love the Janet choreographed dancing moves.

Also the Adult Friend Finder guy who wanted his name to be an authors name gone sexual. E.E. I'm cumming.

I seconded Mike, Stone Cold Fox's last sketch heightened amazingly and I bought into that reality so quickly and they were ahead of the audience the entire time, it was priceless.

Maude Night!

The green pipe thing was a metallic dragon. Very cool.

Also, I must give it up to Stone Cold Fox for their fantastic sad and sexy show.

-Nate Lang as Kim Cardassian was awesome. "I know the famous people we're related to." Ditto the Batman sketch.

-The intensity Sean Clemens showed in 1. wanting to fuck Joe Spellman, 2. detailing his life without Fran, and 3. hating his grandfather/the waiter were impressive.

-I love how 27 Kidneys keeps doing huge group sketches.
