Major PHIT Announcement

PHIT is considering major changes to our timeline for opening a permanent improv theater in Philadelphia. An opportunity to open in University City this Fall may have arisen. The theater needs to move quickly to draw the entire improv community together for this effort, since a more aggressive timeframe will require much greater involvement in order for it to work.

You can do 2 things:

1) Reply to this thread with dates that would be good - this month - for a community-wide meeting to discuss how to get involved.

2) If you lead a group, please email the theater (contact@phillyimprovtheater.com) if you would be interested in a regular weekly show at the theater.

Thanks,

Greg

I will make time to meet about this.

As far as Rare Bird Show and Holmes/Maughan, I don't know about a weekly show, but I'd definitely do a few shows a month.

Wow

Exciting new Greg!

Monday's, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are usually out for me.

This weekend as well as two weekends from now I'm out too.

Hm....busy.

I can go with Mon, Thurs, Fri and most weekends to meet.
The group I lead is so damn fresh, they haven't even met each other yet... so maybe not ready for weekly performances yet, but by the fall who knows.

Oh, and I will email you asap on that other stuff Greg.

Holy shit, MaughanMaughan.

I'll be there whenever... unless I have a show.

The N Crowd is all about weekly shows. (We've been doing it for almost a year now, and will be having a birthday party soon. You're all invited.) We'd have to discuss.

Industrial Improv is a bunch of pansies though.
