One Day Workshop: Wrong is Right with Jon Bander
The best improvisers play with a strength and unique character that comes from their own personalities. To reach this level requires a bit of unlearning some of our beginner habits. This class focuses on unlearning some of those beginner habits, including dropping your character, playing too politely and not surprising yourself or your partner, in an effort to make players as strong and unique as possible. Explore the "wrong" ways to improvise and reveal the validity and power of making unexpected choices. Because sometimes, wrong is right. Prerequisite: Level One or equivalent experience. Limit 16 students.
