Looking for a First Venue

Hey, this is my first post, and it's to make a request. Pretty shady stuff, eh?

I'm looking to do some open-mic stuff just to get into standup in front of a paying audience (I've been doing it for a while, but not, as stated, in front of an audience that's paying). I'm looking for a venue for my first time.

Alas, I'm 16, which sucks for reasons other than standup, but it particularly sucks because it means Fridays and Saturdays are it for me. Does anyone know of a place that'd work for me?

it's a little confusing,
what you're asking for is...

a venue that:
has a friday or saturday open mic/variety/standup night where audience pays... and would let you in as a performer, underage?

it would be easier if you "settle" for a non-paying audience and other weeknights to open your options.

ideas of free venues that would let a youngin' in:
school night, monday
humpnight, wednesday
variety underground, thursday

explore: the collective unconscious, bowery poetry club, um... whatelse...

yea, i'd say the bowery poetry club would be a good place to start, i think they'll pretty much let anyone on stage. You're going to be hard pressed to find a Friday/Saturday paying audience that is going to allow an underage amateur performer. (not saying you're not good, i have no idea, you could be amazing.)

Check this out!

Also, do a couple bringers if you can get of-age friends/family out ... when you're starting out they are kinda nice, but you'll want to stop doing them at some point cause some clubs are totally scammy about it and rip off your friends.

My first was village lantern. On Mondays you might also want to try the lighthouse:
The Lighthouse
Kenny's Castaways
157 Bleecker St. betwixt Thompson & Sullivan
Mondays, 6:45 check in, 7-9pm show
