Locking up bike near theater?

Given the occasional nice weather, are there a good places to lock up one's bicycle near the UCB, Magnet, or PIT theaters? Thanks.

I've never had problems leaving my bike locked to a tree or street sign by the theaters.

My general views on bike locking are to fasten all easily removable parts to something that will not easily go anywhere by something that can not be easily removed. So pretty much any licht pole or the like will do.

But on a related note - I know that the bike racks built into the sidewalk are placed free of charge by the city at places that request them. Does anybody know how to go about getting them installed in front of a theater?
