Level 4 registration has just begun and with this session we introduce two new types of level 4 classes: the 4P and the mini-4.

4P - Performance Class

Starting with Billy Merritt's level 4P class, we will be offering a different 4P class at the beginning of each and every month. It's like other level 4's in most respects, but the difference is that you are using that 8 week period to create a show which will run at the UCB Theatre for 4 weeks, Tuesdays at 11pm, after the class comes to an end. There's even the possibility if the show is good enough, that it might get picked up for a regular run at the theatre.

Mini-4's

Want to take a class, but don't have the time or money to commit to an 8 week class? Well how about a 4 week class which costs only $150? Sound good? This time around we will be offering two mini-4's, both taught by Matt Walsh.

How to register for a level 4 class

To register for a level 4, get us an application with your full payment by 5pm on Monday, March 17th. Once we have all the applications, we will go through them with the instructor and approve students for the class. We will notify you by Tuesday, March 18th if you don't get in a class and promptly return your check or refund your money via paypal.

To qualify for a level 4 class you must have completed a level 3 class and we recommend that you have taken a level 3B. As always, taking a level 4 class is subject to the approval of the teacher and the school manager.

  • You can apply online at http://www.ucbt.net. Remember to complete the process and pay for it using paypal. Your online application is not complete until you pay using paypal. Paypal allows you to use a credit or debit card.
  • You can also apply in person. Dowload this form, fill it out and drop it off with your check. Our office is located at 163 West 23rd Street (between 6th and 7th Avenue), 5th Floor (above the Malibu Diner).
If you have a 1st and 2nd choice for level 4, we recommend you drop by and give us a check with your choices marked on the form.

If you have any questions, call me at 212-929-8107 or email me at classes@ucbt.net. Feel free to post questions here as well.

P.S. I will be adding a FAQ to this later today.

"I think I should sign up for this" - Aaron Bergeron. And he did.

* Please note, that Matt Walsh did not write this description or name this class, but his former students did.

All of Walsh's level 4's are now closed. The last few slots in Delaney's level 4 are starting to go. I would sign up for it today or tomorrow cause I don't expect to have any slots in a few days.
