I had full coverage of all four, beat by beat, but it got very long and I could sum it up by saying I'm a nerd.
Van Buren: Brought to you by the word Malaria.
"The Council at Fuck Mountain: Oh Genosha!"
Loved that group scene.
Birch mourning Jeanie's baby and not his own. All in just socks (blasted rain). Wonderful.
Brister and Reynolds as puppeteers of the universe. So much fun.
Reynolds: I'munna sprinkle pepper on 'em!
Filth: Brought to you by the word Cheekbone.
Koppel, Karel and Kern (oooo) in "Loser Strikes Back"
Blackmailing the cool kids is always captivating.
Hines, Goerlich and Mason in "Don't Scare Daddy"
Played to the limit by everyone involved. Implicitly shitting the pants in fear (Hines)? Awesome.
Taylor and Cragg in "That Tenure Dude"
I'm still laughing. I'll have to stop there.
Goerlich: Where's that Tenure Dude?
Oh, I smell a character being born.
Police Chief Rumble: Brought to you by the word Flamethrower.
Martin and Sanders in "Don't Grow Up on Me"
Hiller and Moynihan as jokester surgeons. I will always enjoy the wormy peanut brittle.
George and Dippold in "Trying New Things"
I witnessed one of the greatest moments in teamwork ever and I have to take a moment to tell about it. Second beat and George decides to perch on one of the chair backs for her scene with Dippold. George begins to fall and she shouts. The fear of falling in her eyes is clear and gutwrenching. Quickly all of PCR, with McLaughlin in the lead rush to her aid and she doesn't fall. McLaughlin holding her up with class justifies himself as Curtis Sliwa the Guardian Angel lurking in the shadows. He sets George upright, and leaves the scene. Truly remarkable work and it made me feel warm inside. It took the line between onstage identity and off stage identity and smoked it like crack (from the scene). Shit that was great! If any of you are reading this, know that you are hearted by General.
Monkeydick: Brought to you by the word...er...I forget...the Noah's Ark (probably not called that) opening was cool and I'd never seen it before. I got more into that than the suggestion. Will Hines took it, if that means anything.
Rocco and Gwinn in "Mortal Sympathy!!!"
Hines and Moe in "Sub Par Genius"...Well played by everyone. And I understate.
Gemberling and Lathan in "Testicles [testi-kleez] Steve"
Gelman played the Hamburglar and Andrew "Dice" Clay in a Super Mario Costume. What a guy.
A good night, I'll say. But not for the Communists in Work Camp 827.
