Sirens and ComedySportz Chicago are proud to co-host LAUGH 2002, a 24-hour improvisation and sketch comedy benefit. Both groups strongly believe in the healing power of humor. They are proud to honor the comedy genius of Gilda Radner by donating LAUGH's proceeds to Gilda's Club Chicago, a cancer support community named in honor of the late comedian. For two years LAUGH has been an incredible success raising nearly $10,000 for Gilda's Club Chicago. Performances will start at 3pm on Saturday, March 2nd and run through 3pm on Sunday, March 3rd, 2001. LAUGH 2002 will be held at the ComedySportz Theatre, 2851 N. Halsted Street. Admission to one performance block is a minimum $15 donation: each additional block is $5. Donors of $50 or more will receive a 24-hour LAUGH pass. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Please call 773-549-8080 for reservations.

Over 30 of Chicago's most talented groups will be performing at LAUGH 2002, including Sirens, ComedySportz Chicago, and the top performers from Improv Olympic, The Annoyance Theatre, The Playground Theater, The Second City and many more!
Well known in Chicago's comedy community, Sirens is an all-female improv group. They have performed at numerous theaters and events including The Cornservatory, The Playground, Improv Olympic, ComedySportz Chicago, The Abbie Hoffman Festival, The Chicago Improv Festival, and Funny Women's Fest 2000 and 2001. Sirens can currently be seen in their highly recommended long-form improv show, Chicken Scratch, as part of Sketchfest at the Theatre Building through February 2nd.
As one of the longest running shows in Chicago, ComedySportz Chicago is a hilarious, audience-interactive comedy competition between two teams of professional comedians who perform a series of improvisational scenes, all based upon suggestions from the audience. In addition to thrilling Chicago audiences for the last 15 years, ComedySportz Chicago has also performed in over 20 foreign countries and for most Fortune 500 companies.
Gilda's Club Chicago provides a place where men, women and children with cancer and their families and friends join with others to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care. Those unable to attend may send donations to Gilda's Club Chicago, 537 N. Wells, Chicago, IL 60610.
