Can't do Mondays for the next two months.

Also, a nice li'l referral from Rhonda...

Todd from Rhonda said:
Hey Kirk, just wanted to say thanks for a great practice the other night. There was kind of a buzz afterwards, I think because it went so well. I think you're a good fit for us - you brought out a lot of good things in us, things that don't always come out. And I think your openness allows a comfort level where there are less reservations. We'll definitely be hitting you up after your class.
Hit me up! We'll work on stuff and have a good time doing it.

Kirk came in on very short notice for Sock and did a fantastic job. He worked us through group games and gave us some fresh perspective on those. He also gave us permission to totally loosen up, which really helped. I recommend Kirk Damato.

Do you want a coach who will commit every fiber of his energy to the needs of your group? Do you want one who will be completely prepared at every practice? How about one who also happens to be (as noted above) dashing?
Well, look no further. Kirk's contact info is at the top of this thread.

Kirk is a great coach! He coached my old group from a year and half and recently subbed again for my new troupe. He always has great feedback and is well prepared. If there is something we are having a problem with he'll help us tackle it in a positive way. He's fun and relatable and probably the best coach you can find in this dimension.

My schedule has freed a bit, so if you're looking to try someone new, or just want to do a session or two that will offer an exciting POV (that has analogies to sandwiches to the Joker to Mike Tyson's Punch-Out - seriously, this isn't some stupid bit), contact me!

Someone I coached said, "The Cap'n makes it happen."

This made me blush.

Although, really, you're gonna be the one that makes it happen. I'll just sit there and maybe side-coach and enjoy your scene.

(Wednesdays are no longer available. But other times are!)

Also, in the past month, two of our rehearsals have been interrupted by others because we got too rowdy. I don't wanna say "Let's go for a third," but... if it happens, it happens.

I just had 2 practices this week with kirk. He was energizing, invested, articulate, and many other great things. Not to mention the leftover chicken wings he gifted me last week. I can't promise chicken wings for your practice. But i can promise great coaching!

I can't always promise you chicken wings, but I can promise it'll be an interesting time.

My schedule's changing a bit over the next few weeks, so contact me!

I love experimenting with different forms, so if you're in the mood to switch things up or try something totally new, talk to me!

And I'm not just talking about the more traditional forms like the Evente, the Bat, Monoscene, Movie (although I absolutely love the Movie), or even Immortal Combat.

Back in the day I co-created a Cartoon Mystery form, founded The Hogwarts Improvisation Society and started The Improvised Mystery (I also love mysteries, apparently), and now DeCoster does an Improvised Play.

The sky's the limit!

If you ever want to try something new and see how far you can bend an improv scene, seriously, let's g'04 it!

Kirk sub-coached my team last week and The Heathers give him a ringing endorsement which doesn't happen so often since we're so bitchy.

we loved him and we bet you will too.
