My name is Kim Parker and I want to coach your team, practice group, or dam construction unit. Let's build something together.
I've been studying at UCB since 2010, under Chelsea Clarke, Anthony Atamanuik, Brandon Gardner, Kevin Hines, Jordan Klepper, Erik Tanouye, and Kevin Mullaney. Most of my advanced level classes have focused on playing with and creating new forms. I've been coached by some awesome people, who have helped me and my teams grow and improve as improvisers, and I'd like to do the same for you. I'm currently on the indie teams Victory Job and Haroldo Rivera, and I just completed an improv intensive with Kevin Mullaney, UCB's former Artistic Director.
If you're in a class, let's get some reps in. Classes are great for learning the rules, practices are great for breaking them. They're also a great way to get closer to those 10,000 hours of improv we all need to do to master it. I'll note you, but I also want you to get in as much play time as possible.
If you're on a team, I can help you focus on group mind, letting loose, and playing together. I'll come to your shows whenever I can and we can work on practice/performance contrast, playing with form, agreement, and anything else your team would like to focus on.
