If I've coached you before just imagine having me coach you every other day for a week!!! That's right, a month's worth of classes jam-packed into one week!

This workshop will kick your ass!

Make basic core improv principles until they are second nature!

Train your your improv reflexes and improv muscle memory!

My workshop will work a few exercises, techniques, and strategies intensely for one week. I'm taking approaches that I've learned through a variety of studies in a variety of disciplines (improv, acting, music, tai chi, etc.)

It'll be somewhat physically taxing, so I'm going to wait to set a firm date until I have enough people to avoid it beoming lethal. ;)

Need info, have questions, want to reserve a spot?

Fun times, I promise!!

James Eason has never coached me.

But we have performed improv together in many shows, and I’ve directed him, and he is great. Just great. Smart, giving, playful, committed.

He’s also a great actor. Serious and funny. Does his homework and asks questions and offers constructive suggestions and positive energy. Understands that fun comes through hard work, not through goofing off. That's why I use him in so many of my short films, which you can see here.

And music. This guy knows music. He studied with Joe Henderson! And at Berklee College of Music. That’s James playing sax in The Day’s Last Peace Bear, which you can hear here. Alto and Tenor! He of course thinks it could be better. Yes, we can all be better. That’s what we’re working on.

And Tai Chi. He has introduced me and then helped me along, patiently and with passion, in what has become the most important discipline in my life. My only discipline! And from great discipline comes great joy. You can read more here www.chutaichi.com, but I suspect you’ll get an intro in his workshop.

Don’t know what he’s gonna be doing in this workshop, but if he's using acting, music, and tai chi to supplement improv, and if my words mean anything, I would trust this guy. He has a great heart and good improv sense.

And most importantly, he can kick your ass. In a good way. But don’t try wrassling with him, even just for fun.
