Second City Training Center: ARTISTIC DIRECTOR JOSHUA FUNK IS TEACHING THE LONG FORM MUSICAL!
Are you ready to get HAPPY!?! Second City Alumni Joshua Funk has a BFA in Musical Theatre and is a veteran member of both Opening Night: The Improvised Musical & Baby Wants Candy, two of the longest running improvised musical groups in the country. In the span of just one week, you will learn the elements of creating improvised lyrics and music. Learn the basics of musical improvisation and collaboration in a fun and supportive environment and by the week's end, be able to perform a fully improvised long form musical. This intensive will be a fast and fun exploration of music and improvisation and culminate with an on-stage performance. No musical or singing expertise is required- ALL IMPROVISORS WELCOME. Tuition is $525.00. Performance on Thursday, August 27th at 8pm. Class runs August 24-28. 11am to 4:30pm.
