Howdy,

I’m John Timothy and I’d like to coach your team.

I am currently a member of the UCB Harold Team Sandino, but I also perform regularly with my indie teams Tesla, The Brood and Rare Candy. If you’re up for a trip in the wayback machine, I’ve also been involved with FUTURO, Mama’s Little Baby, and Big Ass Movie. I have been taught/coached by a number of incredibly talented people and now I want to pass on some of that knowledge to you.

As a coach, I like to focus on keeping things fun and simple. I think that’s also a good life motto kind of thing, but that’s really more germane to my life-coaching thread over at the LRC.

If you’re interested in having me as an Improv and/or Life Coach, send me an email at johnwtimothy [at] gmail [dot] com or call me at 317-435-6972.

I've known Jtim for a while now. This guys gets it. He makes super smart moves while keeping scenes fun and loose. He's incredibly clear with his ideas and often makes you look like a genius. He would make an excellent coach for any group. Honestly, If you don't hire him, you'll eventually wish you did.

John coached my group once. He creates a fun working environment and puts you at ease. He's got some fun games up his sleeve, pertinent to your groupo's needs. (ex: I'm a head case and was forced to play bad rap, exacerbating my head case-ness...:wishy:) And he's really nice. Maybe even too nice.

I improvised with John for a while in our Movie class and with Big Ass Movie and he's just one of those guys that's so easy to play with because he is on board for anything and brings a ton of information and specfics to a scene. It's great to step out into a scene and feel like you can make any move because you trust the other person will just yes-and and endow the shit out of you. That's JT. He's got range, he's sharp, and he remembers everything. Hire this man.

Don't be an idiot: hire this guy. JTim pretty much exclusively makes clever moves, is supportive as heck, can make ridiculous connections that will make his entire team look brilliant, plays game like whoa, and, when pressed, will portray a really convincing Mafioso hosting a BBQ. He makes improvising look easy and always makes it fun.

In summation: If you like fun, hire him and pay him handsomely.

Have you ever been cradled in a scene where you felt so secure and taken care of by the brilliance of your scene partner that you just had to take a nap? Like, one of those deep, deep naps where you dream of a world where everything is going to be all right? Well, I have. And I do. Every single week with John Timothy of Sandino.

JT is not only an amazing, fun, and supportive improviser, but he is also someone you can depend on. He has coached teams of mine at a minute's notice when i go ape shit and off the map and always is reviewed so favorably...tht i get jealous. He knows what he is doing. Hire this guy. Pay him as handsomely as you think he is handsome. I give him a 9 and a 1/2 on the ol' handsome scale. CAN YOU AFFORD THAT???

I'll bet you can.

Having coached a couple of my teams on numerous occasions, I can tell you that JTims is a great coach. He welcomes a very loose and comfortable environment, while still working to the core of a teams specific needs. He's always fun.

If you're a newer team or practice group that's working on finding that common ground and growing, look no further than JT.
