I got a scare today. And I think it'd be a good idea to start putting the word around, just in case.
I could be looking for work. My company laid off people yesterday, not in my dept. so far, but who knows? And it's rumored that there will be more after the first of the year.
I don't THINK (and I certainly hope I'm right) that our dept. can be paired down any more than it is. But we've heard nothing so I take nothing for granted.
So that I can feel pro-active, instead of living in fear, I'm putting the feelers out.
