"And you'd say 'and THIS guy is at Krispy Kreme but he ain't buyin' no donuts!' You understand, Jimmy? THAT'S how you bring out the improvs."

* He said he used to see people do the improvs, but he was now too old to do the improvs.

* He fully cast one sort of split-screen scene where there were two people on a luge, two that were about to get into a car accident ("These two are dating, because they're about to get into a car accident.") and I can't remember the other two. The improvisors did a pretty good job of pulling all the threads together.

* "No romance!"

The other two were Amway Salesmen and they were all in the same spot.

The joy was in how the people on stage made it all work. It was mindblowing.

I performed with Jimmie Walker in a comedy club for a week at a casino in Tunica, MS. The man does not give a shit. I can completely see him doing this.

Who were the improvisers in the Armando?

Zach Ward, Eric Hunnicutt, Corey Brown, Rene Duquesnoy and...jog my memory...

Oh, and once the team got on stage he determined that the group needed more women so he grabbed the first one he saw in the audience and brought her up to play the show. She had just finished her first level one.

It really was a thing of beauty. When Zach and Corey, as the Amway salesmen, snuck into the backseat of the car, I laughed my ass off.

KPR (Kevin Patrick Robbins, Toronto)

And when Jimmie complained about not having any females on stage, I pulled a Level 2 student from the front row. The student (Andrea Margolis, North Carolina) came to class last night with pictures and a video on her digital camera. People listened in disbelief when she told them about the show and what happened. It was beautiful. It was absolutely fucking awesome that she got the chance to play with JJ from Goodtimes after improvising for less than 12 weeks.

Jimmie didn't not give a shit --rather, he was playing with us, playing hard and fast, selling himself to the crowd, fucking with some --it was 11pm on a Thursday, and I loved it.

The next morning when Jimmie was doing a morning radio show for the standup shows he was booked for in Raleigh, all he talked about was the Dirty South Improv place he played the night before.

Ok, from the back it looked like JJ picked Andrea and I thought that was an incredible coincidence that he did. She was awesome.
