Improv Resource Center - Forums

This happened two years ago, where i had electric bills that were anywhere from 150-250 dollars per month....i live in a building that uses electric heat, not gas, but here is the thing. i have my master switch for the wall heat turned off, i always do, i use a space heater, but con ed is saying i owe them 335 for two months, i live in a 1 bedroom with 1 roommate, we shut lights, water etc. we change nothing about our electric use in the cold months, cause we dont use the heater...does anyone else have this problem? how do you fight it? con ed wont believe me if i tell them i dont use it, or they will say, something like.....too bad...what can i do?????????
