IO and Reservations

I'm likely going to see a show at IO on October 11. Is it like UCB, where you TOTALLY need reservations for some shows and not so much for others? Do they even take them? How far in advance should I call?

On a Saturday, yes you should make them. I would call at least three days in advance.

Definitely call. I didn't and was bumped to the late late show. And I'm an alum!

I remember when it was a couple doors down and Charna would send us out with the little 2 for 1's to put on cars before the show.

Yeah, reservations for the weekend and get there about 30 minutes before the show--it's general seating. But the time is pleasantly passed by taking advantage of our bar...

True...good bar. Try to sit in the center downstairs. You can wind up pretty far away if you don't get there on time.
