Hi i'm Jimmy Bland
im in northeastern Michigan so it makes it hard to go anywhere like second city or new york to UCB

but i have started a improv club at my high school and hope to teach and learn at the same time to get to somewhere.
after high school i plan to move to either NYC, chicago maybe LA to go to collage

while take improv and perform at the same time my career in collage would be a computer field well every one behind me is giving me a bad glare so i will go

Hi,
My name is Christee... I'm from Louisiana...All the way down south... I found yall by doing a search for message boards... Hope to be doing lots more posting....

Hello,

I'm Stacey, I live in Phoenix and have been with Apollo 12 since its Comedy Sportz days. I think I took the summer '01 class, then joined just after that. Before that I was in Denver with Comedy Jocks from '99-'01. Sadly, I was not in A12 while Craig was. I was busy having a baby. It took awhile. Now I do mom stuff, puppet stuff and improv stuff. PIF4 starts tomorrow. I'm uber-excited.

Remember Me?

Wow, its been a while. I was a "player" on the "scene" a "while" ago but then I pretty much "dropped" off the "face" of the "earth". So, now that I am back I thought I'd re-introduce myself. My name is Jason and I'm an improviholic, just kidding- I don't touch the stuff anymore. Yeah, I was one of the guys who took all the classes, went to the theater 3 nights a week, and McManus 4 nights a week- a regular "regular" you might say. Anyways, one day I had a wacky idea to leave NYC and move to Poland. That was a good time but after a year of that I had an even wackier idea of moving to Japan, which is where I'm writing from today. Anyways, I feel bad that I lost touch with some of the great people I met during my stint as a UCB cult member so I just thought I'd check in to see whats up. As for the people I don't know, nice to meet you.

am I late?

hey....my name is Desiree. I have lived in New Jersey my entire life. I am a Mason Gross dropout. I just finished Level 401 (equivalent of the old L3) at UCB with Owen Burke (who was also my kickass level 1 teach). I performed in the Lottery once. I only mention that because it was, by far, the strangest Harold I'd ever done. I like to start my sentences with "I". I did a show at Cabaret Theatre in Rutgers once, in case anyone here knows the place. I love sneakers. I did not cause the brush fire that delayed the trains today. I have been browsing this forum occasionally for some months now, and just realized I was supposed to introduce myself. Nice to meet y'all (I never say "y'all" in person.)

Hi,
My name is Jeremy and I am an improvisor of five years. I currently live in Wilmington, NC, but I am moving to Chicago in about three weeks sos I can learn to improv proper. My current troupe "the Other Side" has been running for six years and we have performed weekly on tuesdays for that entire time. I will miss this town and its inhabitants dearly. I really enjoy improv, writing, drinking, waxing philosophic, eating sushi and cheeseburgers and doing crossword puzzles. I think that tickling is annoying and I have made out with lots of people.

btw I am nobody's bit. i am a real guy.

Ah. I didn't see this.

I'm Garrett. I helped form an improv group in college and now I just started taking classes at UCBT.

I love this stuff.

(This stuff being improv.)

I just happened across the IRC once in a break from my crazy temping lifestyle.

All right.

Hi. I'm Miranda. I live in Brooklyn. I've just finished Abby Sher's Sketch Writing class at The Magnet Theater in New York, and I'm now in Armando Diaz's Level 1. Such lovely people they are. I'm having my very first public reading of my stuff on Saturday, 21 May. This is all new to me, so it's very exciting!

At the moment, I'm listening to Skee-Lo's "I Wish" on my favourite internet radio station: BBC6 Music. I wish I were a little bit taller, too, because I hate having to ask people to get things off shelves for me. I know you all wanted to know that.

OK, so I love writing. I love laughing. I love music.

Life is all about the love. Yeah.

My names Jon Smith I have been in the Improv racket for about 6 ½ years now. I have trained with Steve Greeno (Rat Pack), Tracey Frenkel (Second City Chicago), and a few others here and there. I currently run the Laugh Out Loud Improv troupe in Orlando/Miami FL. Outside of Improv I also co-produce a lot of different kinds of events here in FL. If any body’s looking for work down here shoot me an email.

On a side note it’s a shame that the “looking to the person to the left of me” didn’t stick that in itself is comic genius!

(As I sit down and “look to the person to the left of me”!)

Cde

My name is Tommy Cannon. I started t out in the improv world at the University of Arizona in the Charles Darwin Experience back in '97. CDE was created by none other than the celebrated Tony Carnivale. I'm currently in Apollo 12 in Phoenix, which is an absolute delight. I also do wack ass puppet shows with Elastic Theater.

Hey yall, I'm Juan. I'm so new to all of this, only been going to shows since Feb or March of this year. A friend of mine got me into it and I'm digging it. I'm in Chris Gethard's 101 class on Sunday nights, going well so far. Looking forward to a lot more. Peace.
