Introduce yourself here:

starrkendall

The Lone Starr of Texas
chello. I'm Starr Kendall. Or Gavin Kendall depending on what circles you know me from. Both names are real and legal. I'm an actor living and working in NYC.

Shelly Stover introduced me to the UCBT. Loved the CC show. Loved the live shows. Loved the Harold Teams. So I just finished my first level with George Badecker about a month ago and will start level 2 with Brian Huskey next week.

Is that enough name dropping?

From Texas originally. Small town boy. 26 kids in my highschool class. Attended the University of Oklahoma. Trained in South Carolina for a year. Lived in Houston for couple of years after that and then moved here in September 2003. I try to chronicle my lives at www.geocities.com/gavinstarrkendall

Hello, I'm Moujan (rhymes with Dijon). I'm currently a student at UC Berkeley and I live and die for improv. Unfortunately my experience in improv is very limited, as is the pocket book needed to take improv classes in the Bay Area. I have a dream to move to NYC and take classes at the UCB, but first I need to acquire some money. If anyone has any extra cash hanging around (preferably three digits +) and is willing to spare me some, please reply. Thanks.

I've also been lurking around for quiet some time, and I think you people are just swell. Just swell.

Expect the Unexpected.
Hello! I was intoroduced to IRC by Swimmee2004 and our dear friend, Matt Himes. We all went to Parkland High School together and graduated in 1989. Swimmee2004 and Matt know each other well. Matt dubbed me dirtybird after a funny conversation in Spanish class. It stuck.
I love theatre and improv, and like many people I don't know much but am willing to meet people and learn. Maybe it might help me as I am an accomplished vocalist. Also, I am vision impaired and am ready to be a plausible example for people to follow their dreams.

Hope to meet you all.

Thanks.

Hello everyone,

I've been on IRC for a while now but have never actually posted anything. My name's Louis, I'm in NY, I've been training at UCB, and I thought now would be as good a time as any to introduce myself. So hey. How's it going?

Well Hellloo

Hey there I am Ashlee and I have been an IRC member for a short time but a UCB lover for a long time... since I could walk actually. God! That dates me. I Had mullaney for level 2 (Hey Kevin I miss you) and Ari for level 1. Mmm.. I like...food.

Uncle Tyty

Not a blood uncle
My name is Tyler Bryce. I improvise in and around NYC. Recently, it seems that I have been doing a lot at AK (soon to be Juvie Hall). I took a Level I at UCB with Julie Brister ages ago.

I look forward to meeting you, and have heard nothing but good things.

I make words...
Hello. My name is Greg Tuculescu. Learning improv with the UCB has made me happier than I've been in years.

I grew up in Saudi Arabia and Ridgewood, NJ, went to Rutgers College, lived in Italy for a while, and now live in West New York, NJ (right across the Hudson). I don't have many regrets, but one of the few that I do have is not having found this theater earlier.

gabrus53

38th level elf
'ello my name is jonathan gabrus, i improvised and did sketch at marist college for four years recently i have completed level 1 with george badecker who told me to fuck off (best improv note i have ever gotten). level 2 with paul scheer and i am currently working at vh1 trying to get on fear factor

Amberglar

Simply Splendid
My name is Amber

Hello. My name is Amber and I just finished a level one improv class at UCB with Ari Voukydis and I'm ever so excited to begin level two soon with Paul Scheer! Before that class I did some actor-y improv exercises at my acting school, but other than that, not too much. But now I've become addicted to this crazy improv world and can't get enough.

Svenghoulie in the house

Hey there,

my name is rob or sven or skitz, alright it is rob.

i am starting classes at improvolympic chicago next week. i got up on stage last saturday and that was pretty chaotic, but not too bad.

i have taken class at second city workshop and piven, but comedy lures me.

i am a multimedia producer and just finished a video of Shane (the western movie) edited to the theme from Shaft.

I used to be obsessed with the book Dune

Hi, this is Adam Nowak. I am an improviser and generic comedic actor in New York City. Well, I work and play in NYC, but I live in Union City, New Jersey for now. With my wife Amy who's great.

I have done many shows at Gotham City Improv, and did sketch for two years with Living Room Live. I just completed level 2 at UCB, and will soon launch a show at the PIT.

Why not check me out at www.adamnowak.com , eh? It is full of wonders and magic, and also a rainbow and a piece of blueberry pie.

Bye!

Adam Nowak

PS: Oh, and the thing is, when I first joined the IRC back in March 2001, I was obsessed with the book Dune by Frank Herbert, and so my login name is a big, angry psycho from that book. Cute.
