I'm a stalker, I read more than I post. Actually I discovered IRC about 18 months ago and I've spent numerous hours reading journals and forums. Never posted once. Well, this is the first time. But since I started writing my journal, I decided that I might as well sign up and join this community, even if my journal is not hosted here.

So, hello to all.

And I'm a 25 year old guy living in Europe.

mmkay. i am gena. i read these boards often but never bothered to register until a few months ago, then i forgot what i registered under and re-registered under this one. i'm from ny, go to school in ny, am growing a gross hatred for ny, etc. i like pie, and kittens. not kitten pie, that's wrong. i'm not an actor, nor am i president of so and so improv group from such and such a place. just a fan and a wannabe. i do have digital video and editing experience, how about you give me a job? or i'm always willing to help, if'n you need it. ....that is about it.

Introduction

Hi, my real name is Dom. I received my training at Gotham City Improv and I'm a member of the Gotham City Improv House Ensemble "Crux." I also act as the current Box Office Manager. Also, I'm part of the short form group "The Nat Turner Revue Presents Los Banditos Chocolates."

I'm working on a dramatic monologue/improv comedy piece basically mocking my life, called "The Circle is Complete" and will hopefully bring it to the stage early on in 2004. I just need to get up the bravery :)

Hi, I'm Ken Burmeister from NJ... I just started Level 2 improv at UCB and my teacher Seth said this was a great place to learn more about the longform. I'm ever so glad to meet you...

HI! My name is Maureen (Reenie) Roach from Allentown, PA and have been known to perform from time to time. I'm an old childhood friend of Matt Himes whose is currently an improvteer at the UCBT and fellow postee here.

Hi,

My name's Jon. (Goot also works.) I've been lurking around these boards for a bit, and I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm just starting level 3 at the UCB and I've taken Dannah Feinglass's sketch writing course. I work as a writer/editor north of the city (which, contrary to popular opinion, is not upstate).

I'm not sure anyone still reads these now that it's up to 27 pages, but what the hell.

"Hi, my name is Jason and I am a forum lurker. I have been lurking in these forums for a year and am now for the first time registering." :tsk:

I thought our little improv troupe in our little town of Anchorage could get along all by ourselves. Turns out I have more to learn then I have already learned and at this point if I don't get help soon I'll never know everything. :nervous:

Thanks for the place to post and get help from other improv'ers!

Hi there. Thought I'd jump on board the intro train.

I'm San and I just finished my level 3 class (with Jason Mantzoukas) and sketch writing class (with M. Delaney) at UCB.

I'm from Florida where I was part of a massive improv troupe at UF known as Theater Strike Force.

I work for the BBC in NYC and I still haven't been able to pick up on the British accent. I do, however, like to call people "wankers"

Oh yeah. And I am a self-loathing Asian. Heh

I'll be brief, I'm done.
I've given myself two days to come up with something interesting. After 35 years, I don't know what I thought 2 more days would make a difference.
I'm a complete newbie to improv. I'll be starting my LV 1 class at UCBT in January with Betsy Stover. I'm pretty psyched to give this all a try.
In order to eat, and I love eating, I work in IT consulting. I have a lot of experience in Streaming Media and digital recording. If anyone needs help or advice, drop me an e-mail.

The amazing human questionaire

Hi, I’m John.

As you can see from the date I joined this board I’ve been skulking around here for about six months. I came for the UCB summer intensive last June and have been taking classes at UCB ever since. My 3b, with Billy Merritt, just finished and our class show is Tuesday at 6:30 so drop by and have a good laugh at my expense.

Professionally, I consult in the field of human fallibility and frailty. Yes, that is my real area of expertise and I have the Ph.D. from Virginia Tech to prove it. Go, Hokies!

My clients pay me to answer every question they ask with either a question of my own or to say, "No, because...". When I run out of questions and denials my job is done. So the whole "Yes, and... " thing is alien to me.

My Improvisational specialty is asking a stream of pointless questions. If they ever add a Master Inquisitor to Immortal Kombat he will be me.

Improv has allowed me to achieve one of my childhood aspirations. I have always wanted to be an example to others, preferably a bad example. :tsk:

When you see me skulking about the UCB theater lobby say, “Hi” and hear me mummble one of my meaningless, incoherent responses. Only, don’t take it personally.

I am tombuazit, otherwise known as dan-dan. If you really want to know about me check out my journal, "Isn't this my story: Multiple Scelorsis" http://www.improvisation.ws/mb/showthread.php?t=13888 I am sure it is out there somewhere, since I still update it. I think I also have a website on my profile.

It is my goal that every thread on the IRC has a response from me. I want to open the IRC and see my name as the last poster over and over again. I want to rule the IRC as is my destiny.

It is my second goal to fill 80% of my life in some sort of sexual adventure. I had a slow start there for the first 10 years, but I think I am starting to pick up steam. But remember ladies, I can't do it alone, I need you.

My third goal, is to become Pope, catholic girls are loose.

My fourth goal, is to become head of the mormons, cause mormon girls are kinky.

My fifth goal is to become Jewish, cause jewish girls are hot, hot, hot.

My sixth goal is to sleep with a woman from each country that is currently a member of the UN, and possibly some women who are from countries that are not.

My seventh goal is to complete my IRC addiction by making sweet sweet love to Mullaney, as well as everyone else who is a registered user.

My eighth goal is to die alone.

Hello,

My name is Dan Buchbinder, I've been lurking on these boards for months, and finally decided to register.

I did stand up and sketch at Rutgers. I graduated and now working as a PA for VH1.

I just finished level 2 with Mullaney.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi from Florida!

I've been a lurker here for a while, and probably will remain that way. I'm too busy complaining about the cold weather (sub 60) here and arguing with friends that there is indeed a central time zone in Florida.

I'm watching!

Hey all -

My name is John Faga and I live 121,000 and 1/2 blocks from Mullaney.

I have been improvising for 2 years in the Seattle area - studied at Unexpected Productions and have completed quite a few workshops including ones taught by Kevin Mullaney, Kevin Dorf and Keith Johnstone.

I am currently the founder/perform with Sisters of Sal in the Seattle area.

I have a couple of dogs and a wife because the other way is illegal. I like beer.

Holmes

of the Rare Bird Show
Seeing as how I've never formally introduced myself, I thought I would use this thread to do exactly that.
My name is Matt Holmes and I live/improvise in Philadelphia [area]. I have a four-person longform group called The Rare Bird Show. I started improvising at Cabrini College, learning games, and I have done workshops with Kevin McDonald, Bob Zmuda, and Dillinger.
I am from the Poconos, in Pennsylvania.
