Do you have experience with small business management and filing insurance?

Do you have an insurance agent/ contact in NYC that you can recommend?

I looked into Allstate as a generic intro to getting quotes and think they're a little to H&R Block-y for our company's taste.

Please post info you have it to offer.

Thanks for your time.

Are you insuring your gams? Or your sass?
Man-ass actually. No one was providing so I started a company that sells that shit.

I need to file insurance for theft, fire all the basics.

Why do i come here with the not-as-stupid-as-usual questions expecting to find answers?

If you have a man-ass, why are you constantly begging for one here? Just rub y'own.

And I would like to insure my man-ass through your new concern. Please send me some rates.

Maybe what you could do in the future is type "insurance agents nyc" into a search window on a website like Google or Ask or Yahoo Answers or Lemon Pepsi Twist and find more information than a bunch of New Yorkers with little to steal/burn could offer. :)

Argh! When I tried to send you a PM I got this message:

  1. Rosie has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove Rosie from the recipient list and send the message again.
What the shit, Ros? I gotta send you the deets private like. clean out the inbox or allow messages or whatevs so I can hook you up with some contact info. And if this is not something you did...MULLANEY! Let Rosie have her messages back - she promises not to drunkenly spam everyone's PM anymore, right Rosie?

i know people on here with instructions on how to crochet, find squirt and shamrock shakes, find composers, bowling balls, dentists, gyns....

I used MPPI Insurance 732-739-6800. I did a lot of research to find them...looking for non-icky parent companies and such. And they were much cheaper than going the Allstate route - which had been suggested to me.... a few grand instead of 15 grand.

Rosie, will you make me a Shamrock Shake? Please? I really want a Shamrock Shake.

Insurance in my field is unfortunately limited, and controlled by a tiny monopoly. So I know no one!

Wow, weird. I just did a quick search to see if they are still around (it was 4 years ago!), and just discovered that those initials stand for Manning Professional Planners Inc.

Ha ha.

Also, I remember finding the Firemen's Fund very attractive (for many reasons!). They have an interesting history and currently do a lot of support to firefighters.

I may in fact have even been led to MPPI through them...as one of their agents. You can also perhaps look at some of Fireman Fund's other agents....even if you don't end up with a Fireman's Fund product, agents that represent them are probably less mainstream, more versatile.

I THINK (my memory fades) that this is the main difference. A company like Allstate, they are the insurance company and also the agent, they have different products for different needs but the agent is serving the company first, then you. Whereas you go with a smaller agent, they serve you first, for their commission. Agents can get you products from many different insurance companies, to best suit you, and the companies have to compete with each other to offer your agent the best product.

Ok, that's all I know.
Love,
Manning Professional Planner
