Well, I know that there is a lot of mystique when it comes to improvisers. Lots of folks are fascinated by the lives of some of the UCB and SC's most prominent improvisers. And so, I think it would be a fun and new idea to catalogue the life and times of an improviser right under my nose: the talented and underestimated Jack McBrayer!
Some people might be puzzled by my desire to keep track of Jack (hey, that could be my catch phrase, or something!), but I think it makes perfect sense. After all, he is an improviser. So am I. Mystery solved.
Here's a tidbit of news: Jack is on an improv team at the UCB Theater, called Optimist International. I think it's named after an inside joke, or maybe it's some kind of car, or something. Hilarious. I bet it was Jack's idea.
Last night Jack wore a sweater vest. If any of you know where he got it, let me know!
