Improvisors you've seen on commercials, West Coast style

#1
I love the New York Thread, so we gets our own

Two Superbowl commercials

Chris Tallman and Todd Veneman both in separate Cars.com commercials (Todd was the guy with the shrunken head)

Not a commercial, but Nick Armstrong popped up on "The Office" as a printer repairman if I remember correctly.

Pat Finn drives Toyota vehicles pretty frequently.

Pete Gardner is the lead in those Centrum commericals (he's the color blue).

Pete Hulne in the car commercial where she hangs up on him, she walks outside and there he is with the car with a big red bow on it.

Caleb Martin, Irene White and Nick Bush also end up in a lot of spots. Chris Marrs as well.

Evan and Gareth are practically an institution.

I saw Besser, Ian and Matt Walsh in a pre-movie thing at Mann's 6 a couple weeks ago. There were two, like, shorts, about "improvising in movies".

My teammates Doug Jones (in a Rhapsody commercial where he's getting out of the shower listening to music) and Will McLaughlin (in a car commercial where he accidentally eats brownies his wife has laced with horse laxative).

That one with Doug Jones features the great Sara Bareilles playing the paino in his TV room.

Nick Bush in a full tilt poker spot where Matusow rips up his horrible cars

Irene White in the Southwest spot with the guy licking the cake

Ryan Gaul in the Vegas ad with the Devil and God

Kirk Zipfel on those car commercials where people issue directives to things that aren't automatic. "Doors-open", "Curtains-close", etc...

Rob Huebel is in the ad for THE LOVE GURU...
which means he's in the film as well. Way to go, Rob!

(I still say you should take over LATE NIGHT when Conan gets THE TONIGHT SHOW.)

It was a commercial for the film...
That doesn't count?
Don't tell me a movie isn't a product to be promoted with ads.

Judges?
I'll retract my post if so ordered.

I just feel that it's double jeopardy, if you will. The actor actually did a MOVIE, and the commercial is incidental to that movie, which was their real job.

But I await the judges ruling.

I think I saw Thomas Fowler (formerly of Philly) in a commercial for Bally's or some fitness place like that.

Can anyone confirm that?

#17
Yes, I think that is Thomas Fowler playing the likable, slightly out-of-shape guy who joins a gym.

And Brian Gallivan is a dancing office worker in that "What is Love" Diet Pepsi Max ad that debuted during the Superbowl.

Now let's return to contemplating the movie/movie ad question...

Mike Coleman was recently in a cereal commercial, I think.

I mean, I know I saw the commercial, but I don't remember what it was for.
