Instructor: Brooklin Green is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Chicago, IL. Her improv background is diverse, including Improv Olympics, Chicago Improv Festival, and Funny Woman Festival, and a number of improv shows. She has also appeared on A&E's Documentary of Second City The Laugh Track.

I am currently taking this course and greatly enjoying it. The more I read about improv (esp. Napier and Spolin), the more I enjoy her approach. The instructor emphasizes the importance of physical improv and tries to bring in guests during your training so you can expand your views on improv. She is very enthusiastic about wanting to see the improv community grow in Wilmington.

So if you are living in the Wilmington area and interested in improv, no matter what your improv skill level, give Brooklin a call at 910-792-6053 or e-mail brooklingreen@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
AmyK

No, she is offering the classes through the Continuing Education program at Cape Fear Community College. But she mentioned possibly inviting them (TOS) to do a workshop at some point.

She told me she has talked with your cohort Zach Ward of DSI a few times through email. We would like to get a group of the students to come up and check out at least some of your 24-Hour Live show, if we can get away.

As I said earlier, I am a student in one of her classes. Since I am a bit of a Internet and computer geek, I have been trying to help her find Internet sources and she asked me to post the class if I found a good forum. Soooo

I just haven't gotten brave enough to ask a question yet, though I love how enthusiastic everyone is about helping out newbies such as myself. I am still trying to get through all the great info already on the site. But I am getting away from the subject of the thread so I will stop now.
