I saw Factory tonight with the "cameo" of Del Close on the poster. That was fun.

"My Boys" on TBS is doing a story arc with two of the characters taking an improv class to meet girls. It takes place in Chicago.

And, of course, there's Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on MTV's "The Real World." So far, the group has not accepted Thank You, Robot's invitation to perform with them.

Jean Villepique is all over those episodes! Which of course make short form look overly silly. Jean deserves an Emmy just for pretending to be impressed by bad improv. I feel your pain, Jean!

I am still fuming over the blog comments Gail Simmons made about the "Improv" episode of Top Chef. She implied all improvisers go blue when they can't think of anything else to say. Gail, please shut up about non-food things. Thank you.

the early office episodes where Michael Scott takes improv classes really crack me up. he goes on and on about how you always have a gun in a scene because 'you can't top a gun!!'.

another nod to the improv community from The Factory last sunday was when someone entered the scene saying "thank god you're here!"
