Improv Podcasts

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has any suggestions for comedy podcasts that are improvised. I've found a ton of podcasts ABOUT and DISCUSSING improv but have had quite a tough time finding improvised podcasts. Matt Besser's Improv4Humans is a great one I have found. The Asssscat live podcast is cool too. I'd love your recs!

Comedy Bang Bang (formerly Comedy Death Ray) often has Andy Daly, Paul F. Tompkins, and others doing character bits that, if they're not completely improvised, certainly don't sound scripted.

CBB is great.

So am I to assume that improvisers have yet to invade the medium? The only "improvised" podcasts I found in my extensive search where podcasts made by 15 year olds in Indiana on $2 mics. Are podcasts the Moneyball of improv?

Rob Stern has done a couple podcast series where he interviews real stand-up comedians and then interviews improvised characters played by improvisers. One series is called "Pass the Carrots" and the other is "Overload the Machine." They are both available on iTunes.

improv4humans, which you mentioned, is the best, purely improvised show with great guests and of course Besser himself.

Glitter in the Garbage with Drew Droege features improvised scenes off of rough outlines for scenes, and is really hilarious if you're into the Groundlings-style of character-based improv.

The Chicago Sessions was usually a scene improvised with Seth Weitberg followed by an interview with the improviser.

There are also a lot of podcasts of teams performing improv on video both on iTunes (like Trophy Wife from iO West) and vimeo (like the incredible shows by Dasariski).

Recently came across two more podcasts that use long form improv.

IMPROV ETC - Improvisers from San Francisco improvise based on stories. Different local improvisers each week. The audio isn't the greatest but it is interesting to hear the improvisers do their thing. The style is game I think with some character work.

IMPROV ON TAPE - A long form improvised podcast by a Los Angeles improv group. Inspired by the cast's conversations. The audio quality sounds a lot clearer than a lot of improv podcasts and they seem to follow story and characters more than "game" which is pretty interesting. Like hearing a weird mini-play instead of a game Harold.

30000 KHZ of Sound

Here's an improv podcast that we've been doing since 2007-08, it's called 30000 KHZ of Sound.

http://www.30000khz.com/

In this show, which we did live for years, we take suggestions for our scenes from other electronic media, such as shortwave radio signals, Youtube videos, public access TV shows, and other stuff. The show has featured a lot of improvisors over the years, but the core cast has been, me, Kevin Cragg, Brigid Boyle, Ashley Ward, Dan Fairall, & Damon Ketron.

And we're putting up new episodes every month:

Improv Nerd

Improv Nerd with Jimmy Carrane is a great podcast! Every now and then he does a special studio interview (like with Matt Walsh and Key and Peele), but usually it's a live interview at Second City with a guest he interviews then improvises with. TJ Jagodowski, Dave Pasquesi, and Mick Napier to name a few.
